Today KG Kayaks operates hires and guided tours from Port Ohope, Ohiwa Harbour and from Whakatane. In August 2007 we introduced offshore kayaking trips at Whale Island - these trips depart from the Whakatane Wharf.
The KG team also includes my wife Lizzy (baker of the world's most incredible muffins and mother of three energetic boys), Mike - Ohiwa Harbour Guide, Steve - guide and instructor, Louise - summer assistant, Melissa - instructor on school holiday programmes and Jason - instructor with school programmes....and they all have one thing in common ! They are great people to work with.
